Bulbophyllum phalaenopsis

Species from Southeast Asia

This species is pollinated by carrion-loving insects. The flowers reek of rotting meat.

Grown by Bill Weaver.

The plant itself grows long pendant leaves up to 2 meters long. This is the grower standing next to the plant for scale.
